He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hale and Agnes Spivey Hale; and his grandparents, Ray, Sue Spivey, Arthur and Corina Hale.
He is survived by: his son Brian Hale (Katherine); his grandchildren, Garrett (Ashlynn), Grayson and Gates; his brothers, Tommy and Garry; and his former wife Dorothy Hale. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
