It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Byrd Barbour (Clayton, North Carolina), who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Byrd and Willa Dean Benson Byrd; her son James Barbour; and her siblings, Kenneth Byrd and Willa Mae Sorrell.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Barbour; her son Jason Barbour (Deanna); her grandchildren, Shepard Barbour (Amber), Jaxon Barbour and Ede Barbour; her great grandchildren, Levi and Avery; her niece Yvette Davis (Anthony); and her great-nephews, Christian Davis (Athena), Colby Davis (Shalyn) and Kyle Davis (Rachel).
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakland Presbyterian Church (8927 Cleveland Rd, Clayton, NC 27520). Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
