She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Martin and Mozelle Martin. She is survived by: her husband Richard Deans Sr.; her children, Richard Deans Jr. of Clayton, Amy Williams of Knightdale, Jennifer Storey (Andy) of Clayton, Leigh Anne Deans of Clayton and Laura Chase (Eddie) of Angier; her grandchildren, Amber Williams, Tyler Williams, Jacob Williams and Aidan Storey; and her brothers, Tim Martin (Mickie) of Maple Hill and Benny Martin (Joy) of Clayton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
