She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Randolph McClary and Nora Estelle Toombs; her husband James Carter Sr.; her siblings, Jack McClary, Charles Ernest McClary, Milton Hummer, Harriet Owens and Virginia Robinson; and her children, James Carter Jr., Margaret Burley, Shelley Gray, Mary Quinlan, Judy Kelso, Nancy Fritz, Linda Roberson and Robert Carter. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
