She was predeceased by: her parents, William Luther Godwin and Sara Daughtry Godwin; her husband Wilbert Daniel Evans, Sr.; and her brother Bobby Shelton Godwin. She is survived by: her children, Freida Davis (David), Daniel Evans (Vickie) and Anita Voight (Bill); and her grandchildren, Josiah Davis (Meredith), Jesse Davis (Melissa), Emma Lawson (Ian), Jacob Davis, Anna Tuft (Marcus), Jason Evans (Anna), Matthew Evans (Caroline), Lauren Perez (Matt), Kristen Bell (Michael) and Justin Voight. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

While flowers are appreciated, memorial contributions can be made to the Clayton First Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministry or the Women's Missionary Union.
