She was predeceased by: her husband Jack M. Penny; and her siblings, Allene Hockaday, Mattie Daly, Melba Aiken, Joyce Avery, Rochelle Hockaday, Joe Ellis and Roy Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Frankie Medlin of Clayton, Jack Penny, Jr. (Diane) of Raleigh, Lee Penny of Clayton and Paul S. Penny (Roberta) of Holly Springs; and her grandchildren, Patrick Drew Medlin (Beth), Candis Dell Medlin, Jack William Penny and Vivian Marie Penny.
