It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael David Tripp (Clayton, North Carolina), born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on August 5, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tripp and Beulah Tripp. He is survived by: his wife Jean Mahan Tripp of Clayton; his sons, Michael Tripp (Stephanie) of Garner and William Tripp (Suzi) of Garner; and his siblings, Fred Tripp (Melanie) of Monroe, LA, Dan Tripp (Linda) of Monroe, LA and Jody Tripp of Middleburg, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I reached out to Mike a year before he passed. He and I were friends back in high school. I always remembered him as being one of the funniest young men I knew. somehow he and I and another friend were always getting into trouble. We always teased him about that hair. His death came as quite a shock. My condolences to his family. See you later Mike. Stay out of trouble.”
