With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew John Austin (Clayton, North Carolina), who passed away on June 30, 2019 at the age of 26. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matthew John Austin to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Harold Jernigan; and his great-grandparents, Allie Jernigan, Elsie, George Godwin, Lola Lee Hughes, Laura Lee and Hiram Austin.

He is survived by: his wife Katarina Eyler; his son Landon Bentley Austin; his stepdaughter Remington Rose Forbuss; his parents, Michael Austin and Angie Austin; his brother Zachary Austin; his grandparents, Jackie Wall (Steve), Ann Austin and Jimmy Austin (Debbie); and his nephew Leland Hiram Austin.
