She was predeceased by: her parents, Buzz Harvey and Janie Smith Harvey; her husband Jessie Franklin Tyree; and her siblings, Lena Price, Geneva Harvey, Pauline Mays, Nellie Childress, Joseph Harvey, Raymond Harvey and Mallard Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Tyree Morris of Clayton, Paul Franklin Tyree of Clayton, Jessie Wayne Tyree of Peterstown, WV and Adam Tyree of Clayton; and her siblings, Ruth Richmond of Richmond, VA, Betty Farmer of Indianapolis, IN and James Lee Smith of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great - great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
