He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Jones and Lettie Wilkins Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Jones Shambaugh (Paul) of Clayton; his grandsons, Christopher Shambaugh (Jennifer) of Kenly and Patrick Shambaugh (Kayla) of Oakboro; and his great grandchildren, Colby (Butter Bean) and Jordan (Sugar Plum).
