She was predeceased by: her parents, Hector Hendrick and Palmer Thorne Hendrick; and her brothers, Hector Hendrick Jr., David Hendrick and Kelly Hendrick.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Marie Battle Taylor (Therman) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Jeffery Leon Pierce (Brenda) of Enfield, NC and Cephus Pierce III of Clayton, NC; her siblings, Clifton Hendrick (Wilhemina) of Greensboro, NC, Clementine Gadson (Arrie) of St. George, SC and Willa Mae Pittman; and her granddaughter Alexis Marie Battle of Roanoke Rapids, NC. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pinecrest Memorial Park (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520).
