He is survived by: his parent Myrtle Estelle Knight Smith; his wife Brenda Sue Smith; his children, Wayne Lloyd Smith (Michelle) of Clayton, Lowell Harrison Smith (Shawn) of Chester, MD and Jennifer Lynn Smith Gilmore (Rodney) of Smithfield; his sister Helen Furlow (Patrick) of Westminster, MD; his grandchildren, Kyle Smith, Riley Smith, Wesley Gilmore, Brenna Gilmore, Bryan Gilmore and Katlyn Smith; his nephew Patrick Martin Furlow, Jr.; and his niece Dawn Christine Ridgley.
