He was predeceased by: his children, Jimmy Earl Ross and Olivia Ross; his brothers, Charles Leroy Ross, Clee Alfred Ross and Arthur Ray Ross; and his stepson Billy Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Josephine Ross; his son Charles Glen Ross; his siblings, Irene Williams, Callie Stanley, Bobby, Kenneth, Marshall and Elmon Ross; and his stepchildren, Johnny, Tim, Ronnie, Robbie Watson and Phyllis Horton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
