With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lea Massengill Broadwell of Clayton, North Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, W. R. Massengill and Lucille Barbour Massengill; her granddaughter Shelby Broadwell; and her brother Ronnie Massengill. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Broadwell; her son Trenton Broadwell (Amberly) of Pine Level; her granddaughters, Megan Broadwell, Eleanor Broadwell and Brittany Broadwell; her sisters, Kaye Horton (Edward) of Clayton, Elaine Williamson of Clayton and Faye Parrish of Clayton; and her sister-in-law Marie Johnson (Tom) of Cary. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
