He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence P. Baker and Ruby Privette Baker. He is survived by : his wife Mary Harvey Baker; his children, Gerald Wayne Baker, David Randall Baker (Cheryl), William McKinley Drummond and Nolda Ann Stuart (Mark); and his brother Gary Allen Baker (Tina). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520).
