He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alice Moore Edwards and Erastus Edwin Edwards, Jr.; his wife Beth Gilmore Edwards; his children, Steven Edwards of Four Oaks, Russell Edwards of Smithfield, Brandon Edwards of Clayton and Stefanie Edwards of New York; and his grandchildren, Demily, Liam and Winston.
