It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Ruth Underwood (Clayton, North Carolina), born in Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Baker and Betty Cooper Baker; and her brother Tim Baker. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Underwood Sr.; her siblings, Tom Baker and Becky Crapo; her children, Denise Underwood, Gina Dupree and Dennis Underwood Jr. (DJ); and her grandchildren, Carrie, Teresa, Shane, Samantha, Dakota, Michael, Riley, Alhana and Cheyenne. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to your choice of The SPCA of Johnston County, The American Lung Association, and/or The American Heart Association made in her memory.
