She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie and Gary L. Ashford, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Scott Barbee (Sunisha); her granddaughter Kinsley Barbee; her siblings, Gary L. Ashford, Jr. (Hope) and Robin Tomei (Rick); her nieces and nephews, Kathleen Sterling (Josh), Kristine Kazian (Brian), Brent Tomei and Katelyn Smith (Ryan); and her great-nieces, Caroline and Kira Sterling.
