Joyce Woodard Gurley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Woodard Gurley (Clayton, North Carolina), born in Pine Level, North Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Woodard and Ruby Eatmon; her husband Charles Gurley; and her brothers, Bobby Shelton and Robert A. Woodard, Jr. (Ann).

She is survived by: her children, Teresa Sauls (Herbie) and Randy Gurley (Sandy); her grandchildren, Chris Sauls (Cassie), Brittany Petty (Adam), Andrew Gurley (Ashley) and Lindsey Bach (Christopher); and her siblings, Peggy Aycock, Judy Phillips (Danny), Kay Barbee and Benny Woodard (Betsy). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
