She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Vinson and Lessie Jones Vinson; her former husband Thomas S. Lipscomb; her husband Lawrence Canady; her siblings, Doris Vinson Mitchiner Parker, John Arch Vinson and James Thomas Vinson; her son-in-law Richard Baumgartner; and her stepson Kenneth Canady.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Baumgartner of Clayton, Claudia Price (Frank) of Clayton, Naomi Johnson (Jerry) of Clayton, Thomas Lipscomb (Beth) of Clayton, John Lipscomb (Zan) of Clayton and James Lipscomb (Valerie) of Clayton; her stepchildren, Jean Ellerbe and Steve Canady (Gwen); and her sister Mary Helen Woodard of Clayton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
