She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Ruth Barnes Talton; her husband Swade Barbour, Jr.; her son Emmett Barbour; and her siblings, Grace Talton, Eleanor Caldwell, Doris Craig, Mary Alford, John Thomas Talton, Jr., Fred Talton and Robert Talton.
She is survived by: her children, John T. Barbour and Nancy Chambers; her grandsons, Derek Shields (Mackenzie) and Tyler Shields (Heather); and her great grandchildren, Isaac James Shields and Amelia Rose Shields.
