She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lasater and Olliebell Ferrell Lasater; her son Tommy Harper; and her great grandchild Madison Harper. She is survived by: her husband Edward H. "Eddie" Phillips; her sons, Bruce Harper (Tonya) of Smithfield, Scott Harper (Cynthia) of Clayton, Timmy Harper (Katie) of Angier, Michael Harper (Kim) of Selma and Greg Harper (Rose) of Benson; and her daughter-in-law Carol Harper of Selma. She is also survived by grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
