She was predeceased by: her mother Marie E. Stewart (Crowe); and her sister Joanne Shea (Ott). She is survived by: her children, Charlene Phillips (Jim) of Clayton, Douglas Brong of Orchard Park and Kevin Brong (Penny) of Tega Cay; and her grandchildren, Cassie, Karli, Matt (Natalia), Kelly, Sarah (Sam), Jimmy, Maddy, Hanna and Chloe.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to Duke Health in support of the Lung Transplant Director's Fund.
