He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Troeger and Marian Sprague Troeger; and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Carol Troeger (Waalkes); his children, Debbie Shoemaker (Troeger), Dana (Troeger), Anderson (Steve), Anthony Troeger (Monica) and Judi Troeger; his sister Nancy Marchywka; and his grandchildren, Matthew Peters (Stephanie), Jordan Shoemaker (Kourteney), Alec Shoemaker, Jessica (Troeger), Sullivan (Gavin) and Kyle Troeger.
