She was predeceased by: her parents, John Holder and Mildred Holder; her brother John W. Holder Jr.; and her grandchild Allison Michelle Tucker. She is survived by: her husband's children, Anthony Brian Tucker of Clayton, James P. Tucker IV of Knightdale and Jennifer Leah Tyndall of Sanford; her husband James P Tucker III; her children, Anthony Brian Tucker of Clayton, James P. Tucker IV of Knightdale and Jennifer Leah Tyndall of Sanford; her son-in-law Randy Tyndall; and her grandchildren, Preston Brooks Tucker, Cameron Mitchell Tyndall and Emma Ruth Tyndall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
