He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Garner of Smithfield; his children, Georgia Butler of Rocky Mount, Ray Faircloth (Michelle) of Clayton, Stacy Flanigan (Patrick) of Smithfield, Steven Russell (Jennifer) of Randleman, Phillip Russell (Nicole) of Asheboro and Jody Faircloth of Clayton; and his sisters, Ann Pleasant of Angier and Peggy Ray (Jerry) of Julian. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
