With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jewel Strickland Raynor Geesin of Clayton, North Carolina, born in Benson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Hodges Strickland Garwood and Willis R. Strickland; her husband Harvey W. Raynor, Jr.; her son Harvey W. Raynor III; and her siblings, Earl Strickland, Doris S. Lee and Bobbie S. Weeks.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Edward and Matthew Raynor; her stepchildren, David, Patricia and Jefferey Geesin; her sister Lynndale G. McCaffrey; her niece Brenda Utz; and her nephews, Glenn Lee and Ryan Kimsey. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
