She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Barrett and Mrytle Smith Barrett; and her husband Samir El-Adham. She is survived by: her children, Robert Adham of Boston, Andrew Adham of Raleigh, Tareq Adham of Raleigh and Autumne Bennett of Apex; her sister Marry Ann Villalpando of Clayton; and her grandchildren, Barrett Adham, Payton Adham and Marley Bennett.
