James Ludwic Purvis III Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Ludwic Purvis III (Clayton, North Carolina), born in Meridian, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ludwic Purvis, Jr. and Ann Jackson Purvis; his brother Michael Jackson Purvis; and his daughter Shannon Nichole Cousins. He is survived by: his wife Teresa McDaniel Purvis; his children, James Purvis, IV (Annette), Jeremiah Purvis (Beth), Mary LeBlanc (Dustin) and Shelley Turnage (Aaron); his grandchildren, Landon Purvis, Alyssa Trahan, Daylee Trahan, Myra Purvis, Jaden LeBlanc, Lacey LeBlanc, Elin LeBlanc and Elijah Turnage; and his brother Edward Purvis (Merry).
