James Leonard Greer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Leonard Greer of Clayton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Miller and Jacob "Roscoe" Greer; and his siblings, Lena Greer Norris, Elton Greer, Emma Mae Greer Kultgen and Jack Greer.
He is survived by: his wife Martha "Marny" Greer; his siblings, Johnny (Doris Greer), Grant (Ethel Greer) and Gail (David Hayes); his stepson John Cole (Wendy); his grandsons, Harley, Tanner and Braden Cole; and his stepson James Cole (Kim).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Bethelview Methodist Church (193 Ridge Rd, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
