He was predeceased by: his parents, Burleigh Esancy and Gertrude Wentworth Esancy; his daughter Rebecca Smith; his son-in-law Worth Jordan (Red); and his siblings, Bernard Esancy, Leon Esancy, Mabel Alley, Thelma Lonn, Arlene Layr and Agnes Worthley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Joyce Barwick; his children, Braxton Esancy (Karen) of Lithia Springs, GA, Bruce Esancy (Gayle) of Liberty, SC and Patricia Jordan of Garner; his siblings, Arnold Esancy of Union, ME, Lloyd Esancy of Warwick, RI and Winola Sinclair of Natick, MA; his grandchildren, Wesley Jordan, Jennifer Keith, Mark Esancy (Cory), Bethany Holliday (Randal) and Nick Esancy; and his great grandchildren, Madison Holliday, Caleb Holliday, Jayden Holliday, Jacob Esancy, Blane Keith, River Esancy and Brooks Esancy.
