It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henrietta LaVerne Cooke of Clayton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her siblings, Tina Holland, Tony Cooke and Jamel Cooke; her aunt Marie Adams Taylor (Bobby); her niece Octavia Holland; and her close friends, Vince Chandler, Sylvia Miles, Denise Isabella and Sherry Gilbert Gist. She is also survived by nephews, other relatives, and friends.
