She was predeceased by: her father James W. Underwood; her husband Charlie Warren Bailey; her children, Billy Warren Bailey, Kenneth Earl Bailey and Jackie Elaine Lee; and her grandchildren, Steven Barbour, Jerry Braswell and Tina Bailey.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Ray Underwood, Charles Yates Bailey, Nelson Wayne Bailey and Ronnie Lee Bailey. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Helen's memory may be made to Amplify Church Building Fund, 2884 NC 42, Willow Springs, NC 27592.
