He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskel Mack and Myrtle Mack; his wife Hattie Mae Daise; his granddaughter Jevone; his siblings, Ruth Miller, Doris Chapman and Theodore Mack; and his nephew Bruce.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle, Eugene, Jerome (Jeanine), Cheryl (David Hester), Richard (Nellie) and Darrin Mack (Janet); his grandchildren, Kawana, Antoine, Kahleah, David, Jr. (Lydia), Demetrius, Dante (Myra), Richard, Jr. (Angel), Gary, Zakia and Darrin Mack II; his great grandchildren, Dareios, London, Adriana and Dante, Jr.; his sister Vivian Washington; his nieces and nephews, Sharon, Carolyn, Linda, Jody, Cheryl, Deborah, Frances, Gary, Timothy, Anthony, Ted and Wendell; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Davis and Janice Levine.
