She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Pennell and Elsie Stephenson Pennell Davis; her husband Wayne Lee Jr.; her stepfather Ivan Davis; her brothers, Ralph Pennell and Hunter Pennell; her stepsister Sylvia Nau; and her son-in-law Gary Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelia Lee Brown; her sister LaRuth Purdy (Michael); her niece Joni McFatter (Gary); her nephews, Gerald Haskins (Rhonda), Bradley Purdy and Mikie Purdy; her great-nephews, Jamie Shearer (Laura) and Blake McFatter (Rhea); and also, Walker, Livi, Axel and Cade.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Lee's memory to: SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health in Smithfield, North Carolina; who has the family's gratitude for the devoted care provided for Genevieve.
