He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Martin and Lillian Martin (Edmondson); his wife Margaret Lawrence; his son Richard Thomas; his half-brother James Leslie Martin; and his sister Lillian Frances Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Ann, Larry (Katharine), Margaret Rose Faison (Larry) and Kenneth (Rob Horne); and his siblings, Hester Weinstein and Julius Carlton (June). He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great-grandson.
