She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Cocchiara and Frances Dinan Cocchiara; and her significant other Gary Knibbs. She is survived by: her children, Erin Bowers (Peter Bowers), Kristen Petriello (David Gillett) and Joseph Petriello; her grandchildren, James Pammer (Myah Pammer), Liam Pammer, Lucia Walsh and Madaline Gillett; her siblings, Barbara, Chrissy, Dee Dee, Rusty, Stephen, Michael and Gina; and also Theo Pammer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in her memory to: SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, North Carolina.
