She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Braska Barbour and Eugenia Barbour; her son Clarence Gene Parrish (late Sam Clarence Parrish); her siblings, Thomas Barbour and Rebecca Parrish; her husband Clarence; and her nephew Donald Parrish.

She is survived by: her granddaughter McKenna Parrish of Clayton, NC; her sisters, Mary Carter of Clayton, NC and Carolyn Conroy (Bob) of Topeka, KS.; her daughter-in-law Laura Parrish of Clayton, NC.; her nieces and nephews, Tom Carter of Clayton, NC, Wayne Parrish of Wauchula, FL, Douglas Parrish of Wauchula, FL, Bill Barbour of Gastonia, NC, Gail Kottra of Sedona, AR, Lisa Van Prooyen of Santa Rosa, CA and Chrissy Manning of Olathe, KS.; and her friend Doreen Pressley.
