She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Lloyd Bishop and Mittie Eula McClenny; her husband Carl Booker Phillip; her son Carl Dwayne Phillips; and her siblings, James Allen Bishop, Nettie Bishop Warren and Virdie Mable Pender. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
