Eugene Ray Tate Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2021, at the age of 80, Eugene Ray Tate (Clayton, North Carolina), born in Danville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Ray Tate and Katie Lou Tate (Barnett); his siblings, Francis Farrington (Tate), Cumi Samantha Graffius (Phizacklea) and William; his daughter Mary Catherin Neill (Tate); and his grandsons, Willie Reginald Gupton IV and William Samuel Small.

He is survived by: his sister Barbara Anne Beasley (Tate); his daughters, Sylvia Tate Pulliam and Jennifer Tate Small; his son-in-law Warren J. Small; his grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Pulliam and Braeden Asher Small; and his great grandchild Cassie Rose Pulliam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
