He is survived by: his wife Hillary Hamm Vann; his children, Matthew Vann (Cassie) of Lexington, SC, Stephen Vann of Richmond, VA, David Vann (Ashlie) of Selma, Andrew Vann of Clayton and Erica Nikki Vann of Clayton; his sister Mary Gwendlyn Walton (Robbie Kent Walton); and his grandchildren, Katie, Jonathan, Natalee, Brianna and Aurora Grace Vann.
