She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Lawrence Cooper and Gaynelle Hinton Cooper; her husband Jimmy D. McLaurin; and her sister Mary Cooper Sauls. She is survived by: her sons, Edgar Jennings Gower, Jr. of Waxhaw and Gregory Cooper Gower of Waxhaw; her stepchildren, Leslie Barber (David), Margaret McLaurin and Jim McLaurin (Marian); her grandchildren, Eddy Gower, III, Austen Gower, Jaxon Gower, Cooper Gower and Wrenn Gower; her great grandchildren, Axton Gower, Rylee Gower and Cole Gower; her nieces, Cindy Gower, Misty Gower and Elizabeth Sauls; and her nephew Lawrence Sauls.
