He is survived by: his wife Shirley Watkins; his children, Edward Lawrence Watkins, Jr. (Rhonda) and Wanda Watkins; his grandchildren, Jessie Brown and Eddie Mack Watkins (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Mattie, Shelby, Edison and Maia; and his pets, Mitzi and Sneaky.
