She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Jasper and Carrie Reeves Smith; her sisters, Faye Moore of Black Creek and Sadie Mae Hill of Belhaven; and her husband Melvin Leland Peacock.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Marks (Lawrence) of Smithfield, Danny Peacock (Felisa) of Knightdale and Dudley Peacock of Knightdale; and her grandchildren, Sharon (Jeff), Tanisha, Glenda (Les) and Larry Jr.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
