He is survived by: his parent Myrtle Sponaugle Burns; his children, Gene Burns (Tammy) of Chesapeake, OH and Sharon McAllister; his stepdaughter Linda Harmon (Les) of Clayton; his brothers, Edsel Burns (Sheila) of Chesapeake, OH and Bob Burns (Della) of West Hamlin, WV; his grandchildren, Shawn Burns (Mica), Matthew McAllister (Stephanie) and Aaron McAllister; his great grandchildren, Olivia Abner, Payton McAllister and Landon McAllister; and his stepgrandchildren, Kathy Thompson, Vicki Hall and Cherie Jackson.
