He is survived by: his wife Shirley Faye Franks Sanders; his children, Tony Sanders (Kelly Sanders) and Cindy O'Neal (David O'Neal); and his grandchildren, Cliff Sanders, Candace Carpenter (Chris Carpenter), Davey O'Neal and Olivia O'Neal. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
