With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Jones Moore of Clayton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Edward and Agnes Mary Janes Jones; and her husband James Work Moore. She is survived by: her sons, James W. Moore, Jr. (Kim) of Doylestown, PA and Mark G. Moore (Margaret) of Monroe; her sisters, Edna Johnson of Micro, Theresa Jones Pulley of Micro, Rose Earp (Tim) of Micro, Shelia Jones (Jeffrey McBarron) of Micro, Betty Worley (Johnny) of West Jefferson and Carol Debnam (Ed) of Bunn; her grandsons, Carter Moore and Eli Moore; and her pet Maggie.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Hinnant Outreach Center, PO Box 367, Micro, NC 27555.
