She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel W. Finch and Sara Frances Aycock Finch; her former husband Ronald Preston Heath; her husband Stephen James "S. J." Martin; her daughter Cyrstal Frances Heath; and her stepson Kenneth Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie (Melissa Heath), Bobby (Cindy Heath), Robin Heath (Wyatt Ellis) and Kathy M. (Kendall Rikard); her daughter-in-law Jennifer S. Martin of Mount Olive; her siblings, Sandy Butts of New Bern, Faye Outland of New Bern, Nathaniel Finch, Jr. of New Bern and Don Finch (Sheryl) of New Bern; her grandchildren, Andy Buchanan, Emily Howard (Alex), Randy Heath (Nikki), Melinda Rikard Hart (Harrison), Holly Heath (Jessica Heath), Christine Heath (Chris), Deanne Heath, Angel Ellis, Cheyenne Ellis, Mailee Heath, Kai Alpaca-Christopher and Meleka Aplaca-Christopher; and her great grandchildren, Braylon, Adrianna, Olivia, Abel, Gage, Makenna, Brantley, Travis and Julius. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
