He is survived by: his wife Marie Lee Starling; his children, Chan Starling Hales (Tooie) of Kenly and Chance Starling (Natasha) of Clearwater; and his grandchildren, Holden, Gabby, Wyatt Hales of Kenly and Winter Starling of Clearwater, Florida..
