She was predeceased by: her parents, James Benjamin Adams and Mabel Inez Russ Adams; her children, Tracy Custis and Tinica Thomas; and her brothers, Jack Adams, Theodore Adams and Jerry Adams.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tyree Thomas, Tiffany Thomas and Tierra Blue; her great grandchildren, Michael McCullough, Tristan Blue, Dion, Araya Gonzalez, Mariah Thomas and Tsori Blue; and her nieces and nephews, Sabrina Adams, Tracy Russ, Ebony Russ, Mark Adams, Byron Coles and Darrell Adams. She is also survived by close friends, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her senior citizen community, including her close loved ones and friends in Co-op City, where she was a frequent and beloved presence post-COVID.
